You could be in a period of your life where you feel stuck, out of touch with yourself, or gripped in the chaos of change and out of balance. In this case you could benefit from short-term therapy (or counselling) to find your feet and restore your sense of wellbeing.
I choose the term “counselling” over psychotherapy because I work with non-psychiatric cases for a relatively short period of time (an average of 5 to 8 sessions).
